9, 11, 13, 15 Blair Street, Edinburgh

This building, located at 9, 11, 13, and 15 Blair Street in Edinburgh, dates from around 1790. It is a fine, four-storey tenement with an attic and basement, featuring five bays and a three-window pedimented wall-head gable. The exterior is constructed of droved ashlar with raised cills. To the right, there is a four-bay polished ashlar section on the ground floor, which includes round arches that rest directly on pilasters and a moulded cornice. On the left, there is a square-headed door and a plate-glass shop front. The building has recessed dormers set within the pitch of the roof at both the far left and right ends.

The windows are 12-pane timber sash and case, and the roof is covered with grey slate. It also features cast-iron rainwater goods and cast-iron railings.
