94 Grassmarket, Edinburgh

94 Grassmarket in Edinburgh is a three-storey and attic tenement building designed by John Lessels in 1890, which incorporates older elements. The building features a single bay with a crow-stepped gable topped with a finial and includes a pend, known as Currie's Close, to the left at the ground floor. It is constructed from bull-faced squared and snecked sandstone with polished dressings.

Architectural details include moulded cill courses on the first and second floors, as well as a moulded string course between the ground and first floors and between the second floor and attic. The windows have chamfered surrounds, and there is a prominent three-light oriel window at the first floor, which has "MISSION HALL" in gilded letters below it. This oriel features chamfered ogee-arched windows. The second floor has a hoodmoulded three-light ogee-arched window with carved label stops and a decorative motif above it, while the gable has a single ogee-arched window.

At the ground floor, there are modern doors with leaded glazing in the fanlights. The building has timber sash and case windows with lying-pane glazing and is covered with graded grey slates.
