Description

19th century. Single storey and loft steading. Random rubble with droved ashlar dressings. Straight skews.

4 segmentally arched cartsheds with loft openings aligned above, to W. Cattle court to E end, with 3 infilled feeding windows, and sliding timber doors. Irregularly spaced openings to courtyard, with alterations, including later single storey brick lean-to addition, with corrugated-sheet roofing. Hexagonal horse mill to S, with later interior additions, including barrel-vaulted, brick-lined squinch, serving adaptation to engine power; square rubble and ashlar base of later chimney stalk at NE re-entrant angle, with base-rings of shaft adjoining to E.

Graded grey slates and pantiles with easing course; cast-iron rainwater goods.
