Wester Dalmeny Farm

Wester Dalmeny Farm is a 19th-century single-storey and loft steading constructed from random rubble with droved ashlar dressings and straight skews. The building features four segmentally arched cartsheds with loft openings positioned above them on the west side. At the eastern end, there is a cattle court that includes three infilled feeding windows and sliding timber doors. The courtyard has irregularly spaced openings and has undergone alterations, including a later single-storey brick lean-to addition with corrugated-sheet roofing.

To the south, there is a hexagonal horse mill that has been modified internally, featuring later additions such as a barrel-vaulted, brick-lined squinch for adaptation to engine power. Additionally, there is a square rubble and ashlar base for a later chimney stalk located at the northeast re-entrant angle, with base-rings of the shaft adjoining to the east. The roof is covered with graded grey slates and pantiles, and the building has cast-iron rainwater goods.
