Description
116 Rose Street in Edinburgh is a three-storey and attic tenement building, built around 1780, with later alterations at the ground level. It features three bays and includes two shops flanking the common stair door. The exterior is made of coursed rubble and has tripartite windows in the outer bays, along with a pair of piend-roofed dormers. The rear elevation is irregular with three bays, also constructed of rubble. The building has timber sash and case 12-pane windows, brick stacks—one of which is rendered—and is topped with grey slates. The interior was not seen in 1995.
