Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey 3-bay cottage with Gothick details; single storey wing to right. Coursed rubble with some droved stone dressings to front, random rubble to sides and rear. Piended roof; overhanging eaves.

S (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: regularly fenestrated. Timber panelled door with Gothick details and fanlight above in Tudor-arched opening.

N (REAR) ELEVATION: bowed stair tower at centre with narrow Gothic pointed timber window in rectangular surround; decorative cast-iron balustrade above to balcony accessed from French doors in slate-hung dormer to attic.

Modern windows reproducing 12-pane lying-pane glazing pattern. Graded grey slates. Stone coped stacks with circular cans.

BOUNDARY WALL: low stone coped boundary wall to front.
