6, 7 Laverockbank Road, Edinburgh

6 and 7 Laverockbank Road are a pair of early 19th century semi-detached houses that are two storeys high and feature two bays. The houses are built from coursed squared rubble with ashlar dressings, including long and short quoins. They have an eaves cornice and a blocking course that is raised at the center.

The principal (west) elevation is regularly fenestrated, with window and door architraves that are channelled and have square panels at the corners. The timber panelled doors have fanlights above, with the fanlight at No 5 being rectangular and at No 6 shaped like an umbrella. There is a dentilled cornice above the doors. To the right, there is a modern garage and a first-floor extension, while to the left, there is an extension with a stair.

The windows are fitted with plate glass in timber sash and case frames, and the roofs are covered with graded grey slates. The wallhead stacks have been rebuilt and feature circular cans.

In front of the houses, there is a low boundary wall made of stone-coped coursed rubble.
