Cricket Pavilion, Fettes College, Carrington Road, Edinburgh

The Cricket Pavilion at Fettes College, designed by William Carruthers in 1906, is a single-storey structure featuring gabled outer bays that flank a veranda. It has a lead-roofed timber lantern with leaded glazing at the ridge and a swept roof with plain barge-boarding at the eaves. The building is constructed of coursed sandstone.

On the principal elevation, there are five-light mullioned windows in the gabled outer bays, with a clock on the left gable and a sundial on the right. The veranda is supported by timber balusters, pediment, and Doric columns, and features a timber cartouche in the pediment that reads 'In Memoriam John S Yeo, Fettes 1882-1904.'

The side elevations include timber panelled doors with small-pane glazed fanlights set in gabled pediments, which are flanked by tripartite mullioned windows. The timber windows also have small-pane glazing, and the roof is covered with red tiles, featuring a small stone stack at the rear.
