Description
Larchfield is a two-storey, three-bay Arts and Crafts house, possibly designed by W L Carruthers around 1905. The exterior is harled, featuring bell-cast red tile-hanging between the ground and first floors of the bow windows that flank a wide, tripartite central door. Above the door, there is a shallow arched cornice, with a straight cornice over the side lights. The house has casement windows with small panes. The roof is swept over deep eaves and is covered with Westmoreland slate, featuring a piended design, red ridge tiles, and Arts and Crafts finials, along with three corniced stacks. There is also a rear projection and extension.
