Description
Maryville is an early 19th century, three-bay house with an extension added around 1870 that features a large three-light window and a two-storey canted window to the right of the door. In approximately 1900, W L Carruthers added a substantial wing in the English Arts and Crafts style, which is now No 62. This wing is harled with ashlar dressings and includes some half-timbering. The building is a large, asymmetrically composed villa with multiple gables. It has a porch with a pediment over the entrance and a two-storey canted bay window with stone mullions on the north side, along with timber mullioned windows.
