Description

Mid 19th century. 2-storey, 3-bay rectangular-plan house. Painted harl with sandstone margins and dressings. Base course, eaves band, quoin strips. Projecting bracketted eaves.

W ELEVATION: symmetrical. Deep-set door at centre, 4-panelled; flanking windows. Windows directly under eaves, symmetrically disposed.

S ELEVATION: windows at ground and 1st floor to outer right; lean-to modern greenhouse to outer right.

N ELEVATION: windows at ground and 1st floor to outer left; single storey lean-to stores attached to left.

4-pane sash and case windows. Grey slate roof, rectangular, coped wallhead stacks, terracotta cans.

INTERIOR: not seen 1993.

BOUNDARY WALL: high rubble boundary wall with semicircular coping encloses house from road at E.
