Description

106 Sinclair Street in Helensburgh is a single-storey, three-bay lodge designed by William Spence around 1850. The building is constructed from squared and coursed cream sandstone with polished ashlar dressings. It features a base course, chamfered arrises, hoodmoulds, quoin strips, overhanging eaves, and gable ends adorned with bargeboards.

On the south elevation, there is an advanced gabled doorway at the center, which has chamfered reveals and a roll-moulded surround. The entrance consists of two-leaf panelled doors and a corbelled gablehead, although this is partly obscured by climbing plants. Flanking the doorway are windows.

The west elevation showcases a gable with a window at the center. The lodge is fitted with plate glass sash and case windows and has a grey slate roof, topped by a central corniced stack.
