Description

The dovecot at Camis Eskam dates from the late 18th to early 19th century and features a two-stage, octagonal-plan design without a roof, located to the south of the house. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar margins and dressings, and includes a cavetto cornice and a round-headed arcaded parapet. A band course separates the two stages. The north elevation has a door at ground level, with a tall round-headed window above it that features a keystone and impost blocks. There is also a tall round-headed window on the upper stage of the south side. Inside, the dovecot contains stone nesting boxes.
