Description
The Old Parish Church in Rosneath Village features an irregular oval-plan burial ground that contains several obelisk and table slabs. Among the grave stones and memorials from the 18th century is a notable memorial to John Leod Campbell, known for his heresy fame. Some mid-18th century memorials display carved memento mori symbols and trade motifs, including shears and shoes. The burial ground is enclosed by a boundary wall made of whinstone rubble, which has harl-pointing and a semicircular coping.
