Description

The gig house and workshop located at the rear of 18 Main Street in Back Dykes, Glamis, dates from the earlier 19th century. It has a rectangular plan and a piend roof. The structure is built of rubble with raised ashlar margins and features Angus stone slates.

On the south elevation, which faces Back Dykes, there are two boarded timber doors for carts or machinery, each with timber lintels. The north elevation has two window openings.
