Description
24 Main Street in Glamis is a late 18th century, two-storey, three-bay house that forms part of a regular terrace. The building is constructed from coursed and squared rubble.
The northwest elevation, facing Main Street, is symmetrical, featuring a central bay with a two-leaf boarded timber door and a four-pane fanlight above it. There are windows in the flanking bays, and the first floor has a regular arrangement of windows.
On the southeast elevation, there is a boarded timber door with a four-pane fanlight to the left of the centre, a small window adjacent to the right, and another window further to the right at the first floor.
The windows throughout the house are timber sash and case with a four-pane glazing pattern. The roof features coped brick stacks with cans.
