Greenbourne, 76 Hill Street, Monifieth

Greenbourne, located at 76 Hill Street in Monifieth, is an earlier 19th century villa designed in a classical style. It is a two-storey building with a basement and features an L-shaped plan. The exterior is finished with pink stugged snecked rubble coursers, complemented by ashlar detailing, including a base course and long and short dressings. The roof is covered with slate.

On the southeast elevation, there is a central block with a pedimented doorpiece that includes plain scroll consoles and pilaster strips. Above the entrance is a border glazed transom light, and the door itself is a two-leaf design, although it is not the original. Flanking the entrance are 12-pane sash and case windows with panelled aprons, and the margins of these windows are ramped and shouldered at the top. The first-floor windows also have margins and similar glazing, and the elevation is topped with a square wallhead cornice and a piend roof.

The northwest elevation has modern additions and alterations to the original single-storey service wing.
