Description

The Hay Barn at Viewbank, 42 Park Road in Brechin, likely dates from 1826. It is a single-storey building with an attic, featuring a rectangular shape and asymmetrical gables that slope down low towards the road. The structure is built from rubble with ashlar dressings and includes single boarded and garage doors. The east gable has an upper-level window and two-storey lights, while the south face is adorned with five slit windows. The roof is slated with straight skews, each topped with stunted obelisk finials.
