33-35 Murray Street, Montrose

33-35 Murray Street is a late 18th to early 19th century, two-storey and attic, three-bay tenement that forms part of an irregular terrace, featuring a shop at ground level. The front is finished in painted ashlar and includes an eaves band course.

On the west elevation, there is a pend entrance to the right and a large plate glass shop window to the left. The first floor has three bays, with the center window blocked. Above, there is a large canted five-light dormer.

The north elevation connects with 27-31 Murray Street, while the south elevation adjoins 37-41 Murray Street. The east elevation features a pend entrance to the left, with a window above it. To the right, there is a brick-built addition that includes two doors, one boarded window, one blocked window, a door at ground level, and two windows on the first floor that open onto the pend.

The building has timber sash and case windows, with four panes on the first floor. The pitched roof and piended addition are covered in grey slate, with stone skews. There is a brick stack on the party wall to the north and a brick wall head stack on the addition.
