Description

Late 18th to early 19th century. 2-storey, 5-bay tenement in irregular terrace with shop at ground. Later addition to rear forming L-plan. Lined render.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: symmetrical. Shopfront; door to centre, large flanking plate glass windows. 5 windows regularly disposed at 1st floor.

N ELEVATION: adjoining and connecting with 21-25 Murray Street.

S ELEVATION: adjoining and connecting with 33/35 Murray Street.

E ELEVATION: later 2-storey, 2-bay addition to left and advanced, with bipartite window at ground. 3 bays of original house to right and set back; piended tower to left with porch, window above, 2 windows to right at 1st floor.

Timber sash and case windows, plate glass to front, 4-pane at 1st floor to rear. Graded grey slate pitched roof, grey slate pyramidal roof to addition. Towering brick stack on party wall to S.

BOUNDARY WALL: harled boundary wall to E.
