Description

Late 18th to early 19th century. 2-storey and attic, 3-bay tenement in irregular terrace with shop at ground. Painted sandstone ashlar to ground, painted lined render, squared rubble to rear. Base course, fascia above ground and bracketed cornice. Tympany gable.

W (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: doorway to centre with narrow rectangular fanlight, recessed doorway immediately to left, window to left. Larger window to right of doorways and blocked doorway to extreme right. 3 windows at 1st floor symmetrically disposed with tympany gable above that to centre. Small piended dormer above outer bays.

N ELEVATION: adjoining 17/19 Murray Street.

S ELEVATION: adjoining and connecting with 27-31 Murray Street.

E ELEVATION: 2 windows at 1st floor, pitched roof addition to left.

4-pane timber sash and case windows at 1st floor, plate glass elsewhere. Grey slate pitched roof, stone skews. Tall brick gablehead stacks, rendered stack to tympany.

BOUNDARY WALL: brick boundary wall (part) to E.
