Description

Circa 1900. 2-storey, 2-bay, gable ended, rectangular-plan workshop and warehouse. Cement render with ornate classical treatment of front gable end.

E (PRINCIPAL) ELEVATION: 2 doorways at ground, framing pilasters, cornice above ground floor with "PLASTERERS" in relief moulding upon frieze. 2 architraved windows at 1st floor with consoled and pedimendted heads and bracketed cills, Corinthian pilaster ends. Cornice and frieze above with "BURNESS & SON" in painted relief moulding. Deep and bold pedimented gablehead with mutule, dentil and egg and dart cornices, and a disc moulding in the tympanum.

S ELEVATION: door to left at ground and later window to right, steel stairs leading to central doorway at 1st floor, windows flanking.

N ELEVATION: adjoining neighbouring property.

4-pane timber sash and case windows at 1st floor. Grey slate roof, coped skews to W. Rendered gablehead stacks.
