Description
Rosemill Cottage, located in Rosemill, is a late 18th century single-storey cottage and byre. The building features rubble masonry, which is mostly whitewashed, and has a steeply-pitched grey slate roof. It has deep-set 8- and 12-pane sash and case windows, boarded doors, and truncated brick stacks.
On the south elevation, there is a door flanked by 8-pane windows to the left, which is off-centre. There is a blocked door on the left side, a byre door, and a partially blocked opening on the right. The east gable has a window at the centre. The west gable features a 12-pane window on the right side. On the north elevation, there is a door and window to the byre on the left, with a small window to the right.
