Description

The statue of Joseph Hume, located on High Street in Montrose, was created in 1859 by William Calder Marshall. It is a pedestrian statue depicting Joseph Hume pointing to text that he holds in his left hand. The statue is made of freestone and stands on a large pedestal made of corniced sandstone.
