Description

St Comb's Well is a small domed structure from the 18th or 19th century, located on the south side of a slope above a burial ground in Portsoy. The building has a rustic appearance, constructed from pink and grey serpentine rubble. It features a round-headed entrance with a worn sandstone plaque above it.

Inside, the structure has a domed ceiling and includes a masonry bench along the walls. Water flows into a small central masonry basin. There are also three small mural aumbries, which may have been used for lights.
