Description
5 Aird Street in Portsoy is a mid 19th century single storey and attic terrace building, featuring later dormers. It is constructed from pinned rubble with tooled rubble dressings and later concrete dressings. The terrace consists of two cottages, each with a significant late 19th century gabled dormer that breaks the wallhead in the outer bays. The windows have 4-pane glazing, and there is a large ground floor window on the east gable of No 7. The building has renewed end stacks, a slate roof, and pottery ridges.
