Description
The Wellhouse to Ffynnon Fair is a small, single-cell rectangular building with a gabled roof, constructed from stone rubble and featuring a stepped stone roof. The west wall includes a single lancet window and a small culvert that allows spring water to flow through the wall into a square basin, which has a cross-shaped depression at its base. The south wall has a square-headed doorway with a painted inscription above that reads 'Little Church'. The east wall is topped with a high raised gable, which has rough saddleback coping and an apex stone that is surmounted by a concrete cross.
The building is enclosed by iron railings, which are now partly broken, and it sits on a stone terrace. Inside, the walls are whitewashed, and there is a vaulted roof. At the west end, there is a well cistern, and stone benches are arranged around the walls on three sides. A niche in the north wall may have once held a statue of St Mary.
