Description
The forecourt and terrace walls at Ebenezer Chapel date from the 19th century and feature a two-tiered terrace design. The front boundary wall is made of rockfaced sandstone and includes piers topped with pyramidal capstones at the side gateway. The central section of the wall has ashlar quoins, copings, and piers, along with metal railings and a set of central iron double gates adorned with finials. A double flight of steps leads up to the terrace wall, which is also fitted with railings; the uprights rise alternately above the top and middle rails, each topped with finials. On the right side of the terrace, there is a painted iron lamp standard with a tapering octagonal shaft, a downward tapering quadrangular lamp holder, and an iron finial.
