Description

This is a single storey and attic house located at 2 Main Street in Portsoy, dating from around 1870. The house has a gable end facing the street and features modern harl with rendered margins, along with some tooled rubble dressings and a part battered base course. The entrance is through a central door, and there are gabled dormers that break the wallhead in the outer bays. The north gable has windows on both the ground and first floors, which are modern timber sash and case windows. The house has coped end stacks, a slate roof, and a pottery ridge.
