Description
1-2 Old Pier in Stonehaven is an early 19th century, two-storey and attic, five-bay rectangular-plan part-terrace of two houses, arranged in a grouping of three and two. The exterior is rendered and painted, featuring projecting cills.
On the south elevation, the two-bay house on the right has a modern timber door located at the outer right on the ground floor. The remaining ground floor bays exhibit regular fenestration, including the three-bay house on the left. The first floor also has regular fenestration with five dormer windows, all with piended roofs except for the one on the outer right, which has a flat roof and is adjacent to the wallhead.
The west elevation features a gabled design with a single window on the outer left, present on both the ground and first floors.
The property is bordered by rubble boundary walls on the side and rear, which overlook the shore.
