Description
47 Townsend Place in Kirkcaldy is an earlier 19th century, two-storey, three-bay terraced house. The exterior features dry-dash with architraved margins, base and eaves courses, and a corniced door.
The south elevation is symmetrical, showcasing a deep-set panelled timber door with a plate glass fanlight at the center. There are windows in the flanking bays and regular fenestration on the first floor, along with modern rooflights above the outer bays.
The windows are timber sash and case, fitted with plate glass glazing. The roof is covered with grey slates and includes two Velux rooflights. The house has shared, coped ashlar stacks with polygonal cans and ashlar-coped skews.
The property is enclosed by low saddleback-coped rubble boundary walls.
