2 Crook O' Ness Street, Macduff

This building at 2 Crook O' Ness Street in Macduff dates from the mid to late 18th century. It is a two-storey house with a dormerless attic and has three bays. The ground floor has been altered for cafe use. The exterior is rendered and lined to resemble ashlar, with contrasting painted margins. The central entrance has been blocked and converted into a window, while there are flanking doors in the outer bays, each positioned between plate glass glazed windows. There is a single window on the ground and first floor in the west gable, featuring modern two-pane glazing in the first-floor windows. The building has flat skews with run-off skewputts, renewed end stacks, and a slate roof that includes modern roof lights.
