Description
This is a mid 18th century, narrow two-storey house with an irregular three-bay design, located on Church Street in Portsoy. The building has a modern harl finish over rubble, with rendered margins. The entrance features an off-centre panelled door, and to the right, there is a small bipartite window. The first floor has windows only in the outer bays, which are modern timber casements with plate glass glazing. A few crowsteps remain, but the skews are mostly flat. The end stacks are made of harled rubble and lack copes, and the roof is covered with slate.
At the rear, there is a later two-storey, two-bay wing that includes a modern first-floor forestair leading to 88a Church Street.
