Description
The Ice House at Duff House dates from around 1800 and is constructed from rubble. It is built against a slope and features a later square ante-chamber, which is now roofless. Inside the icehouse, the conical shape is made of rubble, and it has a turfed, domed roof that is pierced by a chute.
