Description

The icehouse at Cullen House dates from around 1800 and is a conical structure built into the north-facing slope. It features a tall, narrow entrance that is round-headed and made of ashlar stone, with a keystone and blocked imposts. Inside, the walls are made of rubble, and the ceiling is a corbelled brick dome.
