Description
The Old Laundry at Cullen House, built between 1820 and 1825 and likely designed by architect William Robertson, was originally a laundry facility and was converted into a dwelling in 1988. The building features rubble construction with tooled ashlar dressings. It is two storeys high and has five bays, with new entrances added in bays 2 and 4 during the 1988 conversion; the former central entrance has been changed to a window. The rear of the building has a regular five-bay arrangement of windows, but there is a small, narrow off-centre window on the ground floor. The first-floor windows are lower and have 12-pane glazing. The building is topped with a graded Banffshire slate roof and has coped end stacks.
