Description

The Temple of Theseus, located on the Pitfour House Estate, dates from around 1835. It is a small Greek Doric hexastyle temple featuring a peristyle of 34 granite columns and a wooden entablature, which is very finely detailed. Inside, there is a cold bath. The roof is in a dilapidated state, and some parts of the cornice are missing.
