Description
Saplinbrae House Hotel is a building dated 1756, originally serving as the English Episcopal Rectory. The original part of the structure is two stories high and features three windows. It has a harled exterior with margins and a central wall-head gable that includes a segment-headed window with skewputs. The ground floor windows have been slightly enlarged, and there is a modern porch added to the entrance. An addition was made in 1854, and a southeast advance wing with an angle bay window was constructed by Ellis & Wilson in 1894.
