Description

Newlands in Old Deer is a former gardener's house, dating from around 1820 to 1830, with later alterations. The main part of the building is two stories high and has three windows. It is harled with granite dressings and features a broad eaved low-pitched piend roof supported by brackets. The first rectangular bay windows have Tudor hood moulds, while the ground floor includes a verandah with similar windows. There are crenellated single-storey wings and crenellated screen walls at the wallhead level at the back of the house.
