Description
The Temple in the Temple Gardens is a Grade II listed structure located in Cholmondeley Park, dating from around 1830. It is built from red sandstone and features four fluted Roman Doric columns that rest on stone bases. These columns support a plain Tuscan entablature. The temple is square in shape and has a paved interior that contains a goblet-shaped stone vessel. The lower sections of the column flutings are beaded. Notably, the Temple has completely open sides and top.
