Mainly stables, 1887 (on coat of arms above arch). Red brick, in English Garden Wall Bond, with red tile and asbestos cement roofs. Mainly 2-storey, 9-bay facade, 12-bay returns, quadrangle plan. A large pair of multi-panelled and studded softwood doors on strap hinges in semi-circular stone arched carriage opening. This is surmounted by an incised stone panel with the Cholmondeley Arms and the date, above which there is a two-light mullion window with leaded glazing. The opening is flanked by octagonal stone dressed towers with pyramid tiled roofs with ball finials. The facade (south) has stone plinth, stone window heads and first floor sill bands and steeply weathered sills. 1-to-3-light casements and pivot lights with terra-cotta jambs and mullions. Stone eaves cornice to 2-storey gate house and steep hipped tile roof, between towers, surmounted by bell turret with weather vane. The end bays of the facade are set forward and have 3-light brick mullion, and stone transome, windows also large bullseye windows in stone frames. The interior of the quadrangle has metal casements with steeply weathered stone cills. Ground floor windows have head bands and first floor windows sill bands. Large door openings with Tudor arches. Roofs covered by asbestos-cement sheets.
