Description

The bridge over the Lily Pond in Temple Gardens is an early 19th-century garden bridge made of sandstone. Each parapet features two stone dolphins facing forward, with their tails raised. These dolphins are carved from three pieces of stone, and there is a small drainage gap between their heads. Below the parapet, the bridge is constructed of squared blocks and includes a Tudor arched opening.
