Description

Probably 1820-30. Constructed of re-used material which appears to include part of the former church steeple. Small square cote of roughly pointed and squared red sandstone with tooled sandstone dressings. Centre entrance with paired flight holes above lintel fronted by small alighting ledge. Stumpy octagonal pyramidal tooled ashlar roof (probably re-using material from former steeple) with small paired or single flight holes in S and W facing facets. Stumpy angle wallhead finials with triangular caps.

INTERIOR: approximately 40 stone nesting boxes survive.
