Description

47 The Green is an early 19th-century tenement building located in Aberdeen. It is three storeys high with an attic and features three bays, including a shop unit on the ground floor. The building is made of coursed granite rubble and has raised skews. The elevation facing The Green has a central entrance door flanked by plate glass windows, while the entrance to the flats is located along Martin's Lane.

The upper storeys predominantly feature 12-pane glazing in timber sash and case frame windows, and there are two large, piended and canted dormer windows. The roof is covered in grey slates, and there are coped gable chimneystacks.

At the rear, there is a partially harled four-storey extension that was added around 1994, which may include some fabric from the early 19th century.
