Description

87 and 89 Union Street in Aberdeen is a classical tenement building designed by John Simpson in 1827. It has four storeys and an attic, featuring three bays and is constructed from grey granite ashlar. The building includes a cornice and pedimented bipartite dormers. The windows are predominantly 12-pane and plate glass timber sash and case windows, and there are gable stacks present. The ground floor has been altered to accommodate a shop.
