Description
47 and 49 Union Street in Aberdeen is a classical tenement building dating from before 1828. It stands four storeys tall with an attic and features three bays. The exterior is constructed from grey granite ashlar and includes an eaves band and three piended dormers. The upper storeys predominantly have plate glass timber sash and case windows, while the shops on the ground floor have plate glass as well. The roof is covered with grey slates and there are gable stacks.
The interior was partly seen in 2006, and the ground floor has been comprehensively modernised.
