22 Adelphi, 21, 21A, Aberdeen

22 Adelphi, 21, and 21A in Aberdeen is an early 19th century, two-storey townhouse with an attic and basement, designed in an L-plan. It has an adjoining two-bay house to the north that has been converted into flats. The exterior features cream-painted harl with grey granite margins, a band course above the basement, and a cill course. The building includes piended dormers and granite steps with curved iron railings that have spiral ends, leading up to a six-panel timber entrance door with narrow timber jambs and tall sidelights. Above the door is a large multi-paned semi-circular fanlight. There is also a round-arched window with Y-tracery glazing at the attic gable on the west side.

To the east, there is a large late 20th-century extension that contains flats. The windows are predominantly 12-pane timber sash and case, with some cast iron rainwater goods.

The interior was not seen during the resurvey but is known to have been comprehensively modernised in 2006.
