76-78 Regent Quay, Aberdeen

76-78 Regent Quay is an early 19th century, symmetrical, three-storey and attic, three-bay building that serves both commercial and residential purposes. The ground floor features round-arched openings and is constructed from grey granite ashlar, with a band course separating the ground and first floors and a narrow eaves course above. The central doorway is narrow and includes a timber door with a spoked fan-light above it. On either side of the doorway, there are pairs of openings with margined glazing, recessed cills, and aprons.

The upper floors have non-traditional brown painted timber sash and case windows. The centre features a piended dormer, flanked by tripartite, canted dormers that have been joined to create a box dormer. The rear of the building has an irregular arrangement of windows, including a three-light attic box dormer above. The roof is covered with grey slate, and there is a coped gable end stack on the east elevation, along with clay cans.
