Description

Late 19th century. Large, 16 x 20-bay former Aberdeen Iron Works (commercial premises 2006). Distinctive run of 5 gables to W elevation(Wellington Street). Coursed, snecked granite rubble. Regularly spaced, segmental-arched openings, some infilled. Distinctive cyma recta corbel detail to corners at N and W. Large 2-leaf timber sliding doors on E and W elevations. 20th century gabled roof extension to E.

Predominantly 12-pane metal windows to upper storey, lower storey openings infilled.

INTERIOR: open, steel-framed interior. Some remains of rail tracks on floor.
