Description
No 2 North Square in Footdee is a single storey and attic dwelling house built by John Smith between 1808 and 1809, with later additions. The house features three bays and has a pair of piended and canted dormers. It is constructed from squared and snecked granite rubble, with pink granite dressings.
The windows are timber sash and case, and the roof is covered with grey slates. The house has ashlar skews and skewputts, and gable stacks with a brick stack abutting the gable end on the left side. The property also includes cast-iron rainwater goods, and there are no openings at the rear.
