No 15 South Square, Footdee

No 15 South Square in Footdee is a terraced house built between 1808 and 1809 by John Smith, with later additions by William Smith. This symmetrical building features two storeys and an attic, with three bays. It is constructed from coursed granite rubble with some snecking and has painted granite dressings. The central doorway has multi-pane glazing, while the ground floor has 12-pane top-opening windows and the first floor has 12-pane casement windows, some of which include bulls-eye glass. A central piended dormer protrudes from the eaves.

The left gable is harled, and the roof is covered with grey slate. There is a gable-end stack on the right, along with ashlar skews and skewputts, and clay cans.
